This project had several key objectives, but the primary goal was to replace this outdated system with a streamlined digital platform that would give CDA teams reliable access to vital data. Equally important was for the customer to have strengthened security around traceability and reporting, ensuring that staff could more confidently gather the right information.
A calling card of the new system is a centralized database that replaces physical folders and paper reports, allowing for easier access to information for staff. Additionally, a digital drag and drop approach was implemented that resembled the movement of magnets from the board. This way, workers could access the modernized system in a way that incorporated similarities of the previously used magnet system. Resembling the old system while increasing the user friendliness removed initial hesitance of staff members who were unsure about switching systems.
As Catalyst continues to develop the AMC project, key personnel and asset data will become more simplified and accessible than ever. This will provide CDA staff with exactly what they need to definitively meet their auditing needs. Just like the aircraft that take off from its runways every day, CDA’s operational efficiency is primed to soar.
